Project Girl Mentoring is dedicated to providing mental health services to young women in our programs and community. Our counseling services help mentees discover new solutions to problems and improve their habits. Together, we address emotional pain, process past experiences, and find relief from problematic symptoms. Our organization tailors its program to meet the unique needs of young women of color, equipping them with the tools they need to reach their goals.

We understand that healing and confronting trauma requires a creative process that engages our senses and emotions. Through the art therapy, we can use verbal and nonverbal forms of expression to actively connect our body and mind, leading to personal development and growth.

Counseling is a valuable resource for everyone, regardless of their age or background. With our licensed therapists, we offer a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to help young women gain a better insight into themselves and effectively manage their life challenges.

The pandemic has affected our communities in significant ways, leading to an increased need for mental health and  resources. To address this demand, we have expanded our services to make essential resources available to all mentees and their families. If you are feeling lonely, anxious, or distressed as a result of the pandemic, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help.
