Project Girl Mentoring Program is a group mentoring program serving young women of color between the ages of 11-18 in Snohomish County. Our curriculum-based sessions offer confidence, coping, and life skills needed to empower. Our purpose is to be a haven while providing encouragement and hope to young women about their future.

The Immersion Lab Program will consist of 4 weeks, teaching mentees the skills and tools they need to make a positive impact on their health and wellness. Mentees will get exposed to the eight pillars of wellness such as; interactive activities, art therapy, movement classes, and sisterhood. A key component of this program is its concentrated effort on the unique perspectives and lived experiences of young women of color.

• Must be 11-18 years old,

• Must be a middle or high school student for the current & upcoming school year,

• Must be punctual & meet all the participation expectations of the Immersion Lab.

• Must be able to wear a mask,

• Must not disrespect any other mentee.

PHOTOGRAPHY RIGHTS & PERMISSION: I understand that during the Immersion Lab, my child's/children's photo and/or video likeness may be taken, and I hereby give my consent to use such photo or video in conjunction with promotional use or media coverage. Moreover, I hereby give my consent.

 

DISCLAIMER: I understand that the Directors of the Project Girl Mentoring Immersion Lab reserve the right to change, cancel, or modify the Camp’s schedule at any time. I also understand that the organization reserves the right to WITHDRAW any girl whose conduct is deemed disruptive and/or harmful to instructors, guests, peers, speakers, or volunteers.

 

ACKNOWLEDGED CONSENT BY PARENT / GUARDIAN: I acknowledge that I have read, consented to, and understand ALL of the disclaimers stated. I give my permission for the minor(s) in my care to engage in all Labs and all other programs for the duration of the Immersion Program.
